Beki’s an art student with a love of making clothes and pretending to be good at surfing while Mike’s a musician, amongst other things, notably an Ultimate Frisbee fanatic.

Their STA Explorer name, Volunteering and Chilling, is taken from what will be the two mainstays of their six months of travel, which will take in Ghana, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Australia and the US. From what we know of the two of them the chilling is likely to involve beaches and whisky (Beki especially) as well as discussing the merits of all manner of music. This will all be combined with volunteer work including helping out in an orphanage and contributing assistance to a human rights organisation.
