Stiff Socks gives STA travelbuzz his seal of approval
Back in the early days of this most autumnal of Octobers, Stiff Socks posted about prepping for his trip, first port of call, Ecuador.
In making his pre-travel plans the net has been a valuable source of information, and he lists among such sites our very own bit of the travel web world, STA travelbuzz. He’s even linked to a few of our STA Explorers. It’s a pleasure to be appreciated. He’s also been impressed with the amount of online tools that can help a globe trotter like himself, something he intends to give advice on at a later date. For now though why not make do with ours…
This was of course, a while ago, so why not leap to Stiff Socks’ site now and see how things are going. He’s already survived a tricky landing at Quito airport and soggy luggage, experienced standing on the true equator and rode a cable car to the dizzying height of 4100 metres.

i think that this is a great site… with good ideas and intentions, it just needs a little more depth to be of any value to travelers. in honesty i hope it steers away from rehashed posts about the things that everybody experiences and looks deeper at adventures that hit upon the things that travellers go looking for.
