Show and Tell: Brazilian theme continues
Ah, Brazil; the home of beautiful women, dazzling footballers, giant statues of Jesus (or maybe just one), and, at any given moment, a few million student travellers (estimated statistics) learning the hard way that Brazilians speak Portugese, not Spanish.
Brazil is a popular destination for tourists, and it’s easy to understand why. With rainforests, highlands, scrublands, mountains, plains, savannas, gorgeous coasts, and vibrant cities making up the fifth-largest country in the world, there’s pretty much something for everyone, including the highest number of terrestrial vertebrates and invertebrates of any single country in the world – thank you, Wikipedia.
Our interest in Brazil today, however, is not with the invertebrates, or even the vertebrates. We’re here to help answer people’s questions about the country for another ‘Show and Tell’ …
