George reckons you have to go bungee jumping in Rotawura – advice he’s been given himself, while Jeni continues the extreme theme, with hiking on Franz Josef glacier as well as rafting (though she also finds space to sneak in a push for some nights out!).

Marianne, has some interesting suggestions on visiting the Cook Islands so you can celebrate News Years twice if you happen to be there (which sounds a very good idea!) as well heading to Taranaki for a morning of skiing and an afternoon of sunbathing – not something you can do everywhere.

Finally from our STA travelbuzz buddies, we have Dylan – a man with family connections in NZ – who ran through a slew of tips, including a call to go winetasting in Marlborough and a great list of brand names that you’ll become very familiar with on your visit.
