Time for some proper adventure?
I don’t know about you, but I’m in the mood for an Adventure with a capital A. Lazy beach holidays and cultured weekend in posh European hotels are all very well (and, if you’re offering, a girl can never have enough of ‘em), but right now I want something to get my adrenalin pumping, challenge my limits and shake up my safety zone.
In the Epilepsy Forum, AndyJ has come to the conclusion that an organised adventure holiday would be the perfect way to meet some likeminded 20 somethings whilst doing something completely different. LauraLee22 recommends STA Travel - who do in fact have a bunch of offers with companies providing adventure packages, including deals with Club 18-30.
Of course, a tour isn’t the only way to be adventurous - a structured package can be less exciting than simply heading off somewhere that feels very foreign. Top on my list at the moment is Russia and rural Japan, simply because I think they would challenge my cultural assumptions. Forget Shia LaBeouf. You’re looking at the new Indiana Jones Jnr, and her whip is unfurled.
