Crystal Cascades, Cape Tribulation and a whole lot more…
Crystal Cascades and Cape Tribulation are both recent updates from STA Explorer Chris – Hang 10 and Party. There is however a whole lot more (that you can scoot through on his archive page), among which is a post entitled 14,000 feet, can you guess what it is..?
Nevertheless I’m going to focus on his visits to Crystal Cascades and Cape Tribulation. Crystal Cascades is a fresh water plunge pool and well worthy of its name by all accounts. Chris made the most of the opportunity,
“swimming in waterfalls, taking pics and jumping off insanely high rock ledges.”
After such escapades he concluded,
“A beautiful day full of beautiful people and beautiful experiences… I found it the kind of scenario you dream about when planning your travels.”
Definitely something that is not to be missed if you’re in the vicinity. As for Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the sea, Chris recommends taking the trouble to arrange this excursion yourself,
“Word of advice to travellers….if you can do it off your own back you’ll save yourself a lot of dollar! In this instance Cape tribulation was going to cost us around $160 per person. Instead me, the 2 Danny’s, Linzi and Becky managed to do it for $60 per person including accommodation – now that is a hefty saving that can be used towards goon supplies! Hahahha!”
It is good to see Chris has fellow travellers concerns at heart, a true ambassador for the STA Explorer way. Also I should mention that you don’t have to spend any savings made because of this advice on the infamous goon. To read about what he did while he was there, including licking the green ants, head on through…
