My desire for exotic adventure in lands far beyond the shores of my native UK has always been inspired by a romantic (but often misleading) attachment to the cinema, and hampered by an innately patriotic (and shamefully difficult to overcome) reluctance to try any food that doesn’t occupy an entire aisle at my local Sainsbury’s.

Travel plans: African safari, winter in Moscow, romantic weekend in Venice.

Sam

Sam sees travel as an on going project, the world is for collecting. Not in a tyrannical conquering sense of course, but as an opportunity to gather experiences and see those things that require a firm push off from our own fair shores. And, as such, time in New York and the bible belt of the US has created within him affection for our transatlantic partners, Athens put him in touch with the Gods and Prague resulted in a nasty near miss with the fire hazard that is Absinthe! Sam is working hard on becoming a man of the world.
Travel Plans: More Bible belt brilliance followed by the west coast, learning to surf anywhere suitable and a trip to France to test the native lingo, he is laboriously learning, on Parisian actresses…

Matt

Matt would like to buy himself a little farm on Fiji, and get a sheep and a cow, and breed horses. However this may be impractical so he’ll settle for travelling to other places such as Krakow, Berlin, Sydney and anywhere else he can afford. They say it’s the people who make the place, so as long as he’s with friends and within arm-reaching distance of a cocktail that’s fine with him.
